LOS ANGELES Eleven in-state agencies participated in the mandatory conference yesterday to contend for the California Lottery’s four-year, $28 million Hispanic advertising account.

Creative, media and related agencies attending the meeting in Sacramento included independents Acento Advertising, Los Angeles; AdMark Group, Pasadena, which is in discussions to pitch with Interpublic Group’s Initiative, Los Angeles; al Punto Advertising, Tustin; Castells & Asociados, Los Angeles; and Parrero Successful Advertising, Fresno. Holding company shops included incumbent IPG’s Casanova Pendrill, Costa Mesa; Grey Global Group’s Wing Latino, Los Angeles; Publicis Groupe’s Conill Advertising, Torrance; Omnicom Group’s Dieste Harmel & Partners, San Francisco; and DRM/DDB LA, Venice.
