DETROIT Cadillac will break a 60-second spot on this Sunday’s Super Bowl, depicting its new CTS-V sport-performance sedan slicing through a torrent of water to emphasize the car’s engine power and the vehicle’s aerodynamic appeal.

In the spot, called “Turbulence,” the CTS-V stops at a red light in the desert as an Escalade SUV and SRX performance-utility vehicle approach from opposite directions, creating a tornado-like effect. That effect then dissolves into an XLR luxury roadster with its top up.
