DraftWorldwide will move staff into Campbell-Ewald’s headquarters to work on the U.S. Postal Service account, which the Interpublic Group shops won last week following a lengthy review.

C-E in Warren, Mich., and Chicago-based DraftWorldwide prevailed in a three-month review for the $100 million account. In the 1990s, Draft worked on the direct portion of the business. IPG’s Initiative Media will handle buying chores.

USPS officials were most impressed with the number of top-level executives the IPG team promised to the business and with the agencies’ expertise concerning the technical aspects of the account, such as supply-chain management, sources said.

USPS manager of postal advertising Larry Speakes said all of the competitors were close in their pricing proposals.
