NEW YORK Brown & Williamson, the U.S. division of British American Tobacco, has awarded ad duties on its new Advance Lights brand to 141 Worldwide, sources said.

The decision follows presentations last month from 141, a part of WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, and G2, a unit of Grey Global Group, both New York-based BAT roster shops, sources said [Adweek, Sept. 22].

141, which also works on BAT’s Kool and duty-free advertising, will introduce the new “reduced-risk” cigarette to the U.S.
