Burrell Communications seized upon Verizon Communications’ checkmark-like logo in coming up with its current campaign for the company.

TV ads intended to “define who Verizon is in the marketplace” broke during Thanksgiving week. The Chicago shop produced the winning idea for the $20-25 million campaign in a review that included several general market agencies, leading to the current commercials.

Burrell’s work employs the tagline, “Verizon. How to get life done,” which was previously re-searched and approved by the company.
