CHICAGO Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett here has named group creative director John Condon chief creative officer of its U.S. operations, effective March 2006.

He succeeds Cheryl Berman in the post; she will continue as U.S. chairman.

Condon, 44, who has been at the agency since 1986, will lead the 200-person creative operation.

Having started on the United Airlines account, Condon has most recently served as group creative head on the Kellogg account. He also worked on the Cadillac V-Series campaign that aired during the Super Bowl.
