CHICAGO ConAgra has awarded advertising duties on its Chef Boyardee brand to Leo Burnett without a review, an agency representative confirmed.

The $15 million assignment comes just months after Burnett landed on ConAgra’s roster in April to handle the Omaha, Neb., company’s $35 million Healthy Choice account. That business was also awarded to the Chicago shop without a review.

The Chef Boyardee brand had been at Fogarty Klein Monroe in Houston. ConAgra spent $16 million advertising Chef Boyardee products last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
