First off, we should clarify an item from last week’s 2001 Quiz. We mentioned how Virgin Mobile staff wanted to photocopy their behinds at a party in homage to pop star Melanie Blatt, who did the same in a Virgin ad. Well, it turns out it wasn’t Blatt’s bum in the ad (shown here). It was, says The Guardian, a “stunt bum.” Whose stunt bum? They wouldn’t say. … Next, score one for Advocates for American Indian Children in its fight against the name Washington Redskins.
