Budweiser Enters Dominican Republic

CHICAGO Anheuser-Busch and Santo Domingo distributor Bacardi Dominicana are introducing Budweiser in the Dominican Republic.

“The success of the Budweiser brand continues to show there are opportunities for growth around the globe,” said Bob Kelley, managing director, Caribbean, Anheuser-Busch, in a statement.

The introduction is being supported with radio, television and print advertising and point-of-sale displays from several agencies in the U.S and in the Dominican Republic. Creative details were not immediately available.

Budweiser, which is produced at 12 breweries in the U.S.
