NEW YORK Omnicom Group today named Chuck Brymer, group chairman and group CEO of Interbrand, to succeed Ken Kaess as worldwide president and CEO of DDB.

At the same time, Bob Scarpelli, worldwide chief creative, has added the title of worldwide chairman.

In that role, Scarpelli, 53, succeeds Keith Reinhard, who becomes chairman emeritus.

Brymer, 46, has been chairman and CEO of Interbrand, a global branding and design consultancy, since 1994. Before that, he was president of its U.S.
