NEW YORK Brown & Williamson Tobacco has selected Media Kitchen to handle its media planning and buying account after a review, a search consultant with ADvice & ADvisors confirmed. Media Kitchen beat Media First International, MindShare and incumbent MediaCom in the final round of a review.

The client spent $50 million on ads last year, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

Media Kitchen, New York, a unit of the Kirshenbaum Bond Creative Network, beat three other New York agencies to land the business: Interpublic Group’s Media First International, WPP Group’s MindShare and the incumbent, Grey Global Group’s MediaCom.
