The Los Angeles Catholic Big Brothers are looking for a copywriter and an art director-or an ad agency-to help with some pro bono work. The organization provides adult “big brothers” to 200 youth in the Los Angeles area.
The nonprofit group needs help with its quarterly newsletter, other printed materials and radio and TV public service announcements, explained Kenneth Martinet, the organization’s executive director.
While 80 percent of the kids assisted are Hispanic or African American, only 35 percent of its volunteers are minorities, Martinet said.
