ATLANTA Brighthouse is preparing to launch Brighthouse Live, a separate ad agency unit within the independent marketing consultancy, sources said.

The new entity at the Atlanta agency will handle the creative portion of Delta Air Lines' $30 million advertising account, which moved to Brighthouse in May following its split from Publicis' Leo Burnett in Chicago.

Jerry Cronin, formerly a partner and executive creative director at BaylessCronin in Atlanta, will head the unit as ecd, sources said.

Burnett sister shop Starcom Worldwide handles media for the Atlanta-based carrier. Delta spent $13 million in the first nine months of 2003, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Agency and client officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
