‘WSJ’ Ad Linage Drops Last Month

U.S. ad linage at The Wall Street Journal fell 10 percent in August because of declines in technology and financial advertising, WSJ parent Dow Jones & Co. said last week. The New York-based company said it still expects ad linage to come in flat to slightly up in the third quarter.

Aegis Revenue Up in First Half

London-based media-buying company Aegis Group last week said first-half revenue grew 7.8 percent to $469 million.
