CHICAGO Howard Breen has joined Interpublic Group’s MacLaren McCann WorldGroup in Toronto as chairman and chief executive, the agency said.
Breen had been chairman and CEO of North American regions at WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam, Chicago.
Breen, 47, joined Y&R four years ago as president and CEO and in September 2001 he was promoted to his current post. He oversaw Y&R operations in San Francisco, Chicago and Canada as well as some functions of its Miami and Detroit offices.
