NEW YORK Young & Rubicam Brands has installed new leadership at its multidisciplinary BrandBuzz unit, as co-founder and CEO John Partilla leaves for a position at Time Warner.

The new CEO is Rick Eiserman, 31, former senior vice president of marketing at Y&R Brands, who split time between BrandBuzz and events unit Bounce Event Marketing. Advancing to chief operating officer, a new post, is Jennifer Kohl, 36, who previously was chief marketing officer and integrated media director at BrandBuzz.

"Rick and Jen are an amazing team and the right one to take BrandBuzz into the future," said Y&R Brands CEO Ann Fudge, in a statement.

New York-based BrandBuzz has billings of about $100 million and a staff of more than 50. Clients include The Absolut Spirits Co., LG Mobile Phones and the Dr Pepper/Seven-Up division of Cadbury-Schweppes.

Partilla, 39, accepted an offer to become president of Time Warner's global marketing solutions division in New York. He starts June 14.

Partilla, who spent 18 years within the Y&R network, also was a managing partner on the agency's Sony Electronics account. David Murphy, CEO of Y&R's Irvine, Calif., office, will absorb those duties as client executives shift their base of operation from New Jersey to Southern California, said a Y&R representative. The relocation is expected to be completed by fall.
