NEW YORK Rick Boyko, managing director of the VCU Adcenter, and his wife, Barbara, plan to donate $1 million to the school, they said on Monday.

The money will be used for a development campaign and to establish a scholarship fund in the pair’s name.

“The Adcenter has been in the same space since its inception in 1996,” said Boyko in a statement. “We’ve simply run out of space. Our new school will celebrate open architecture, knocking down the walls allowing for free thinking and collaborative idea generation.
