Bowie, Iman Style for Tommy Hilfiger

NEW YORK Tommy Hilfiger said Monday that rock legend David Bowie and his wife, supermodel Iman, will appear together for the first time in a marketing campaign, to help launch the designer's spring 2004 collection, "H Hilfiger."

The print campaign, handled in-house, will break in April 2004 issues of national men and women's lifestyle and fashion magazines and run through the year. The shoot took place earlier this month in Amsterdam, handled by renowned photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. Spend was not given.

According to the New York-based company, the use of Bowie and Iman "illustrates Hilfiger's longtime love of fashion and music."

"David Bowie and Iman bring everything I'm looking for to represent this brand: music, style, elegance, creativity, sophistication," Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement. "They're a living testament to all that influences and inspires me. Together they communicate the essence of the 'H Hilfiger' lifestyle perfectly, and I am honored to feature them in my new campaign."
