BOSTON Boston Scientific has selected Allen & Gerritsen for advertising chores.
Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulous in Boston, an Interpublic Group shop, had previously handled the account.
"The decision was based on A&G's enthusiasm and understanding for our business and what it is we hope to accomplish through our advertising and in promoting our brand," said Pam Brickley, director of corporate branding at Boston Scientific.
A print campaign building on the client's new tagline "Delivering what's next" is expected to break early next year. Ads will run in national and international newspapers as well as trade-related publications.
Ad spending is estimated around $1 million.
"Boston Scientific was such a natural fit for us. It's an unbelievable opportunity to work with one of the premium brands in the world at an amazing time in their history," said Andrew Graff, president of Watertown, Mass.-based A&G. Graff said A&G added the business following a review.
