BOSTON Boston Beer is rolling out a "Broadcaster for a Day" promotion in Boston, Chicago and New York for its flagship Samuel Adams brand. Now through August, consumers may audition by calling pre-selected segments of past baseball games.
Competitors in each city will be narrowed to five finalists who will vie for a chance to provide live commentary during upcoming radio broadcasts of Red Sox, Cubs and Yankees games.
Co-sponsors of the Boston-based brewery's promotion include the New England Sports Network, Fox Sports Network Chicago and CBS Radio.
