A fixture on the Boston agency scene in the '80s and early '90s, is reinventing himself in Portland, Maine.
Under the auspices of Filament Creative Strategies, Bonneau provides creative counsel and strategic planning to both agencies and clients, working on everything from account pitches to TV art direction.
"It's a different model," going beyond consulting into client relations and creative execution, said Bonneau, who spent 17 years in the ad industry as a creative director, account manager and commercial producer.
He recently teamed with Creative Design & Marketing in Portland and Arnold Communications in Boston on a Telly Award-winning
TV campaign for the Partnership for a Tobacco-Free Maine.
Before forming his own firm more than a year ago, Bonneau for three years served as director of creative services at McDonald Communications in Portland. In Boston, he held posts at Ingalls, Cuneo Sullivan Dolabany and Cipriani/Kremer.
