Bogusky to Head Obie Jury

NEW YORK Alex Bogusky will lead a seven-member jury for the 2005 Obie Awards, the Outdoor Advertising Association of America said today.

Bogusky, executive creative director of Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, and his staff have won the best in show at the Obies for the past two years. They were recognized for their Mini and Ikea campaigns.

In addition to Bogusky, the jury includes: Connie Garrido, founder of Mindshare’s The Wow Factory in New York; Noel Haan, ecd of Leo Burnett in Chicago; Mike Hughes, president of The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va.;
