NEW YORK A piece of Bank of America’s business has landed at Interpublic Group’s Gotham in New York, as the client shuffles agency assignments among IPG shops in the face of a planned merger between Bozell and Lowe.

BofA cannot follow Bozell into Lowe since that agency already handles HSBC Corp. Instead, BofA is mulling a shift of most of its $170 million account to another IPG agency, possibly Deutsch, said sources.

Two Deutsch divisions, however, already work for rival J.P.
