BMG Establishes Boston Office With Kokernak At Helm

Berkshire Marketing Group, a communications agency in Troy, N.Y., has tapped Michael Kokernak to head up a Boston outpost as vice president of new business development. He had been vice president of affiliate and investor relations for Shop at Home, a home-shopping network in Atlanta.
Kokernak for now is BMG’s sole Boston employee and is charged with bringing in clients. With an extensive background in broadcast marketing and sales, he will target broadcast and technology companies.
Kokernak will work closely with freelancers and the staff in Troy to mold brand identities for prospective clients and broker deals to get shopping and cable networks airtime in Boston, he said.
BMG also maintains a small office in Lenox, Mass.
