NEW YORK BlueLithium, which serves more than 4 billion ad impressions per month to a network of 1,000 Web sites, said that it has agreed to acquire ad-serving technology company AdRevolver.
The transaction, subject to legal approval, is expected to close within two weeks.
BlueLithium has been a licensee of AdRevolver's technology, which provides targeting by channel, geography and demographics, online reporting and automated optimization. The technology will now only be available to advertisers that use BlueLithium.
As a result of the purchase, BlueLithium is expanding its operation in New York. The San Jose, Calif.-based company is also opening an office in San Francisco this quarter, and one in London in the first quarter of 2005.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
