ATLANTA The Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance has selected BLH Consulting to provide marketing communications and public relations assistance, the agency said.
The MFHA is a nonprofit organization that serves as an educational authority on multicultural diversity issues for the restaurant, food-service and lodging industries. After a nationwide search, the group chose the Atlanta shop to help elevate awareness of its industry, said Betsy Helgager, agency president and CEO.
"This is a great opportunity to make the public aware of MFHA's work and mission," Helgager added. "Our focus is to help the client reach its vision of being the diversity authority and facilitator for the food-service industry."
Work for the Providence, R.I.-based organization will be primarily pro bono. Efforts will include public relations, marketing communications support, positioning and branding, an interactive CD-ROM, ad placement and general counsel.
