BFGoodrich has selected Keiler & Co., Farmington, Conn., to develop a national image campaign.

Goodrich, the Charlotte, N.C.-based aerospace giant soon to be renamed Goodrich Corp., made the decision after a review of undisclosed contenders.

Ads will introduce the new name and reinforce Goodrich?s position as a leader in aerospace and industrial products. Print is slated to break in June, mainly in business and trade publications. Spending will initially be in the seven-figure range.

The company has done little advertising lately — about $500,000 in 1999 and half that amount in 2000, estimates Competitive Media Reporting.

Keiler,
