Berry-Brown Advertising will close its doors after 23 years in business, following the suicideof the agency’s chief financial officer and an investigation into a misappropriation of funds which has left the company unable to pay its bills.

Agency president Jim Hradecky declined to comment on the reason for the imminent closure, citing legal concerns.

“This has been a tremendous agency and we’ve always had a great reputation … so it’s hard,” Hradecky said of the closing.
