Business Acumen Key to His Role as Shop’s Co-Creative Director
DETROIT–It may sound paradoxical, but R. Drew Fezzey’s business acumen is what led the Berline Group to sign him up as its co-director of creative.
Fezzey will team with Mark Dutil, who has been creative director at the Bloomfield Hills., Mich., shop for several years, to run the department. With the additional title of vice president, Fezzey will concentrate on administrative aspects of the head creative job, said Jim Berline, the agency’s chairman and founder.
Unlike many creative executives, Fezzey has a strong business background.
