Bension Promoted To President /COO At Consultancy SRI

Select Resources International, one of the largest search consultancies on the West Coast, has promoted managing partner Catherine Bension to president and chief operating officer.
Bension, 48, who joined the Los Angeles consulting firm as a senior partner three years ago, assumes responsibility for SRI’s agency searches and day-to-day operations.
Company founder Mike Agate becomes chairman and chief executive officer.
Agate credits Bension with playing a “major role in doubling [the] size and revenue” of the company, as well as “enhancing the company’s reputation for integrity.”
Bension had been elevated to managing partner in 1998.
