BellSouth consolidated another portion of its account last week, awarding Hispanic corporate branding creative and media planning duties to Sanchez & Levitan.
The Miami winner topped nearby The IAC Group for the account, which had been split between the two. All Hispanic media buys were previously consolidated at Trans-America, also Miami.
Agency president and executive creative director Fausto Sanchez confirmed the win, saying he was “pleased and proud,” but otherwise referred all questions to the client.
Representatives for BellSouth had no comment.
The consolidation pitted two agencies with women in principal roles, IAC president Ana Maria Fernandez Haar and S&L managing director Aida Levitan, for an account that sources familiar with corporate ad budgets and the Latino community estimated at $3.5
