Bartle Bogle Hegarty has hired its first new-business chief and promoted key staffers to run its account management and planning departments.

Amanda Kavanagh, most recently director of business development at Bozell in New York, has taken the post of new business director at BBH, here, reporting to agency president Cindy Gallup. Kavanagh starts next week.

Separately, group ac count directors Sarah Thompson and Tim Castree have become joint heads of account management, while group planning director Paul Matheson has risen to head of account planning.

The moves come as BBH creates its first work for Levi’s, which shifted its $60 million U.S.
