LOS ANGELES The final three spots from Omnicom Group’s BBDO West for DirecTV broke last week and are currently airing, according to the company.

The commercials introduce a man’s annoying roommate, “Otto,” dressed in work clothes with the label “Cable” on his chest. The dialogue between the two men represents running metaphors on bad cable service.

In one spot, the man returns from the airport after Otto ignores picking him up in order to play softball. In another, Otto answers the phone while stretched out on the couch, immediately puts the caller on hold, then returns to his magazine.
