NEW YORK BBDO earned the most laurels at the New York Festivals’ 2004 Television and Radio Advertising Awards on Thursday.

The New York shop won seven Gold World Medals as well as the Grand TV Award for best creative achievement for its Federal Express spot, “Desert Island,” a spoof on the movie Castaway.

DDB in Chicago won the Grand Award for best radio commercial for the fifth year in a row for a spot in its “Real Men of Genius” campaign, “Mr.
