BBDO’s first chore for Hormel’s Jennie-O/Turkey Store division will be to gather information on how the brands can best coexist.

“We’ll be determining each of the brand’s roles in the marketplace,” said Bob Thacker, president of the Minneapolis agency. “They both have distinct brand attributes.”

Jennie-O’s strength is in whole bird and deli meat products, whereas Turkey Store is known more for its processed turkey products and cuts, he said.
