BBDO last week laid off 66 employees, or 3.5 percent of the staff, in its Troy, Mich., office, an agency executive said. The cuts are in response to a reduction in assignments from DaimlerChrysler, the office’s only client, an agency rep said. Improved technology and processes have also reduced the need for staff, according to the agency.
