LOS ANGELES Mitsubishi Motors North America has launched a campaign for its Outlander small SUV via Omnicom Group’s BBDO.

“Out”-performing the competition is the central theme of the effort, and executions play off that concept, showing how the vehicle “Outplays,” “Outshifts” and “Outblasts” (in terms of sound-system performance) all comers.

The new tagline, “Out-everything everything,” reinforces that message.

“Typically you’d want to focus on one feature. But in this case the story is the bigger picture—that it out-everythings everything.
