BBDO Adds Cherof, Loses Noble at Atlanta Office

BBDO has added a top management executive and lost one.

Agency president and chief executive officer Chris Hall confirmed that Rob Cherof, former senior partner and management director at J. Walter Thompson here, has joined the Atlanta shop as executive vice president and management director. Hall also said that executive creative director Jim Noble has resigned.

Cherof, who managed the U.S Marines account for Jeff White at JWT in Atlanta, will manage the $250 million Cingular Wireless account, BBDO’s largest client.

Shari Dennis, executive vice president and management director, will take the lead on BBDO’s remaining accounts, including Bayer Advance, Georgia Natural Gas Service and the Tourism Board of Panama.
