DETROIT Omnicom Group’s BBDO has strengthened the creative leadership at its Detroit office.

Cameron Day joined the Troy, Mich., agency in late May as Chrysler brand creative director, duties that were previously handled by Bill Morden, BBDO vice chairman and chief creative officer. Day will report to Phil Gant, the agency’s executive vice president, executive creative director. His counterparts are Sam Sefton and Rick Dennis on Dodge and Robin Chrumka and Mike Stocker on Jeep. It has not been determined if or when a second Chrysler brand creative director will be hired to partner with Day, a BBDO representative said.
