Battery Maker Taps Grey Promo Shop

BOSTON Rayovac has tapped the J. Brown Agency to handle promotional chores, the shop confirmed.

"We were especially impressed with J. Brown's strong combination of promotion expertise and account-specific marketing savvy," said Robert Hopton, chief marketing officer at Rayovac in Atlanta, in statement. "J. Brown has a keen understanding of what motivates consumers and proven ability to convert creative ideas into measurable sales results for its clients."

The Stamford, Conn.-based shop was selected after a review of undisclosed agencies.

J. Brown's client list includes Kraft, Gerber, Bic, Guinness and FedEx.
