NEW YORK In an unexpected move, Gary Bassell, who in November 2004 was hired by The Bravo Group as chairman and CEO, has left the shop.
In a statement, the company said Bassell left “to pursue other interests.”
Bassell was hired away from Miami-based la comunidad to guide The Bravo Group forward. Eddie Gonzalez, a 24-year Young & Rubicam veteran who began his career at Y&R Puerto Rico, has replaced Bassell. Prior to his appointment, Gonzalez was chairman and CEO of Y&R Madrid.
