Barnhill Named GM at Saatchi in San Francisco

Durk Barnhill, an account director at Saatchi & Saatchi, has been named general manager of the agency’s office here.

Barnhill, 35, succeeds Julie Bauer in overseeing daily operations at the shop. Bauer remains president and CEO of Saatchi’s San Francisco office, but has also been named to a managing partnership that covers Saatchi offices in New York, Northern California and Canada. She will be based in New York.

In a statement, Barnhill praised the efforts of his predecessor and said he is committed to building the agency’s reputation in the Bay Area.
