Barnes Jumps to StarLink

Alison Barnes, formerly vice president and media director of new business development at Starcom, has joined sister company StarLink Worldwide in Chicago as vice president and media director. In her new post, Barnes will oversee clients including Alexian Brothers, American Laser Centers, Cole Taylor and Shure microphones, as well as agency partners such as Gardner Geary Coll Advertising, McCarthy Mambro Bertino and Colby & Partners. She will also aid in the transition of the StarLink IP team. Barnes is a 12-year industry veteran, and for the past five years has worked on new business for Starcom, helping win accounts such as Disney, U.S. Army and Lego. Both Starcom and StarLink are divisions of Starcom MediaVest Group, which is owned by Publicis Groupe.
