CHICAGO Boelter + Lincoln has promoted four-year agency veteran Joe Ban to creative director, a position that has been vacant for the past two years, according to the shop.

Ban, 35, will oversee the Milwaukee shop’s staff of nine creatives, a job he previously shared as one of three associate creative directors. The other associate creative directors, Rick Lagan and Michael Stodola, remain with the agency.

The independent agency has been without a sole creative leader since partner Ken Young left about two years ago, an agency representative said.
