The Martz Agency, an integrated marketing and public relations shop in Scottsdale, Ariz., has named Lynn Balinas president and chief operating officer. Balinas is charged with providing strategic direction for new business and existing accounts. He comes to the shop from Eli Lilly & Co., where he was an integral marketing associate. Before that, Balinas was director of marketing at AMAX Minerals and headed the marketing department of FMC Corp.’s international agricultural division.
