Bakery Moves Media to Carat

NEW YORK Unilever's George Weston Bakeries, known for its Thomas's English Muffins and associated brands, is shifting its estimated $20 million media planning and buying account to Carat USA here following a review against undisclosed contenders, a Carat representative said.

Media planning had been at Bates USA, while media buying had been handled through Zenith. Bates USA retains the creative assignments for all of the bakery's brands.
