Gayle Nyre has joined Holland Mark Martin as director of creative services, a new position at the Boston agency.

Previously, Nyre served as worldwide advertising manager in the personal computer business unit of Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard.

She left Arnold Communications in Boston some years ago to join Digital. She began her career in advertising at Arnold precursor HBM/ Creamer, working as an assistant to current agency chairman Ed Eskandarian. She moved up the ladder to office manager and eventually was tapped to oversee the administration of the creative department.

At Holland Mark, she will again work closely with creative department staffers to coordinate work for existing clients and prepare for new business pitches.

‘Gayle is in a league of her own in this position and she knows what’s what,’ said Holland Mark representative

Tracy Wallace.
