ATLANTA — Axa Financial has begun negotiations with The Martin Agency about handling the client’s estimated $15-20 million advertising account, according to sources.

An agency representative said only “There’s nothing to report yet. ”

The selection is Axa’s second this year. In February, the Paris-based financial service provider entered into negotiations with TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York (Adweek February 13, 2002), only to drop the agency before a deal could be finalized. An Axa representative said that no decision had been reached on the account.
