Seattle-based Avenue A has opened a Chicago outpost with JCPenney.com as its first client, the i-shop said last week. The retailer selected the aQuantive i-shop to manage its online media planning and buying and search-marketing efforts, a new assignment, without a review. Maggie Boyer, Avenue A vp and general manager, who formerly oversaw business development in the region as vp in the Midwest, will lead the new five-person office.
