NEW ORLEANS–The Audubon Institute, which oversees New Orleans’ zoo, aquarium and Imax theater, has narrowed its $1.5 million account review to three finalists, including the incumbent and an out-of-state contender.
Peter A. Mayer Advertising here has held the business for six years. The two other finalists are the team of Montgomery Stire & Partners and Buisson Creative Services, both New Orleans, and Porter Novelli in Washington, D.C.
“We face a shrinking entertainment dollar in New Orleans with the growth of tourism on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the upcoming openings of several major attractions locally,” said Karen Noles, client senior vice president.
After sending a request for proposal to 15 shops, which were selected from the agencies that contacted Noles in the past six years soliciting business, nine returned applications.
